Greg Lewis, CSMO and Pedro Geraldo at GISCAD in Portugal

EarthSense, the air quality expert, today announced a partnership with GISCAD, a Portugal-based geomatics and civil engineering solutions company, to bring its air quality monitoring solutions and services to Portugal, Angola and Mozambique.

GISCAD provides a range of advanced technology equipment, software and technical support to its clients in the geomatics, engineering, construction and architecture sectors. Its partnership with EarthSense will see GISCAD distribute the flagship Zephyr® sensor and MyAir® web application as part of its solutions package to assist with geographic information systems (GIS), agriculture, and forestry applications, among many others.

Pedro Geraldo, Product Manager at GISCAD said: “We are so pleased to collaborate with EarthSense and look forward to a strong partnership that will help to improve air quality levels in several different regions. At GISCAD, we strive to offer our customers total and permanent satisfaction, so we are proud to offer EarthSense’s leading products as part of our solution package. We hope that our clients will be able to take advantage of the Zephyr® monitor in particular to monitor the air quality on-site and in their community to manage pollution levels and keep the air cleaner for everyone.”
Zephyr Air Quality Sensor with eco Solar Panel connection

The EarthSense Zephyr® real-time monitor takes accurate measurements of ambient air pollutants including nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO), ozone (O3), and particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10, TVOC). The data is fed back to the MyAir® web application where it can be analysed and downloaded to track short and long-term pollution patterns and identify areas of interest, allowing users and policymakers to prioritise areas that require strategic change. MyAir® also allows a public-facing portal to be implemented, allowing employees at both GISCAD and its respective clients to check on air quality levels in the local area.

Greg Lewis, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at EarthSense, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with GISCAD and deliver our range of industry-leading products to its clients. We look forward to bringing our joint expertise and solutions together to tackle environmental challenges and improve air quality.”
